Kurdistan Region President meets with former President of Iraq

President Nechirvan Barzani met with former Iraqi President Dr. Barham Salih on Wednesday afternoon.

The two sides engaged in a discussion regarding the internal circumstances within the Kurdistan Region, the initiatives aimed at establishing a new cabinet for the Kurdistan Regional Government, the overall situation in Iraq, and the recent developments in the region.

Both emphasized the urgency of accelerating the formation of the new Kurdistan Regional Government cabinet and stressed the importance of strengthening mutual understanding, coordination, and cooperation among political factions in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to support national stability.
